Stonegate Capital has appointed Ali Hassan as Finance Manager, further strengthening the firm’s finance and operational infrastructure as it continues to develop its investment platform.
Ali holds a Master of Commerce and has completed the AFC level of the Chartered Accountancy qualification. He brings over nine years of experience across finance, accounting, taxation, financial reporting and strategic business planning in the UAE and Pakistan. His professional experience spans manufacturing, trading, logistics and investment environments, with a focus on financial management, financial control, regulatory compliance and business planning.
At Stonegate, Ali is responsible for the firm’s financial control and reporting framework, including budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, management reporting, accounting oversight and internal controls. He also supports the financial analysis and evaluation of investment projects and transactions, including financial modelling, review of transaction assumptions and analysis of investment and portfolio performance. In addition, he oversees corporate tax and VAT compliance and maintains the firm’s financial records and databases.
His appointment strengthens Stonegate’s financial governance and control environment as the firm continues to build its investment platform and develop its presence in Dubai. His role provides financial oversight across the firm’s operations and investment activities, supporting disciplined capital allocation, effective risk management, and informed decision-making.
